About The Position

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Health Management Intern to join the Employer Services team. This internship offers a comprehensive program providing real-world business, risk management, and insurance experience. Interns will learn to apply classroom concepts through project work and client interaction, develop professional skills, and gain insight into the insurance industry. The program focuses on building a foundation for Client Management or Sales career pathways, acting as a springboard into full-time careers.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in health and wellness – dietetics/nutrition management, kinesiology, health promotion, exercise physiology, corporate wellness/fitness or public health.
• Detailed and organized with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work on a team as well as individually.
• Must conduct self professionally; have the ability to effectively build and maintain positive working relationships with management, employees, and peers.
• Proficiency in MS office applications required.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the local team to help create content for seminars/webinars, communication campaigns, and other programs to support clients on health and well-being topics.
• Explore the role of a Health Management consultant by participating in a variety of meetings and trainings.
• Receive real industry training and relevant work experience.
• Participate in national webinars introducing the industry and the organization.
• Grow network by working closely with manager, mentor, and other interns.
• Work directly with multiple teams, learning the basics of world-class insurance programs while supporting actual clients.
• Meet with a wide variety of industry partners.
