This role is for a Health Information Technology Specialist Player Coach to support an IQVIA pharmaceutical client partnership. The position blends direct field execution with team leadership, focusing on driving operational excellence, coaching field team members, and acting as a liaison between the client, field team, and IQVIA leadership. The individual will support multiple cardiovascular brands in the US market, primarily focusing on integrating the brand into EHR systems across priority accounts. This includes identifying and addressing barriers affecting patient care, access, treatment processes, patient identification, and overall end-user experience. The role also involves sharing Electronic Health Record insights to enhance patient care and support population health approaches in inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include developing and implementing customer-specific plans and collaborating with Account Management, Medical, and cross-functional account teams. The specialist will support healthcare stakeholders such as end-users, clinicians, informatics, Quality, Population Health, and IT teams. The Player Coach serves as the primary contact for the field team, providing day-to-day oversight of operations, team performance, and personnel matters. Working with the Health IT Director, this individual will align strategy, support execution, and provide coaching and development to Health Information Technology Specialists. Success requires a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and can be both a strategic partner and outcomes-driven.
