About The Position

Eskenazi Health Center is seeking a collaborative and results-driven Health Center Coordinator to help lead daily operations, support clinical and administrative teams, and advance our mission of providing exceptional care to the communities we serve. In this role, you'll partner with health center and physician leadership to drive operational excellence, improve patient access, support staff development, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care while helping ensure the efficient operation of one of Indiana's leading community healthcare systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Management, or a related field; however, a minimum of three years of healthcare, leadership, or business management experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • Experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership, operational, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient and team experiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of medical terminology, coding, and billing practices.
  • RN licensure.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Health Center Manager in the day-to-day administration of assigned health center locations, departments, and programs.
  • Assist in overseeing administrative, operational, financial, and clinical support functions.
  • Promote efficient workflows and operational excellence to maximize patient access and service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Provide supervision, coaching, and leadership to staff members.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee development efforts.
  • Foster an engaged, collaborative, and patient-focused work environment.
  • Conduct regular staff rounding and facilitate daily team huddles.
  • Monitor operational, quality, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support performance improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
  • Partner with leadership to implement strategic initiatives and communicate organizational priorities.
  • Utilize data and continuous improvement methodologies to reduce no-show rates, improve capacity utilization, and enhance patient flow.
  • Assist in monitoring departmental budgets and resource utilization.
  • Ensure accurate expense management and cost control practices.
  • Support efficient use of staffing, scheduling, and operational resources.
