About The Position

This position is for a Health Care Surveillance Security Guard who will be responsible for monitoring security systems, spotting threats, and assisting families before situations escalate in specialized health care environments. The role requires a sharp eye, strong observation skills, and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid security license
• Hold a valid Vulnerable Sectors Check
• First aid certification
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
