About The Position

We are currently seeking reliable and professional Construction Site Security Guards to join our team in Vegreville, Alberta. We are hiring for Full-Time Night Shift Guards as well as Weekend Guards for an active construction site. Security Guards will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for workers, equipment, and the construction property during non-operational hours.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Alberta security license
• Strong report writing skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification
• Reliable transportation
• Previous construction site security experience

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
