About The Position

Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Security Guard? What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Your strong observation skills with attention to detail are your greatest strengths. As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as security operation centres, call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.

Requirements

Be authorized to work in Canada
Valid BC Security License.
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
Completion of 12 hours of site-specific training.
Ability to work independently, follow safety protocols, and remain professional at all times.
Standard Garda uniform, steel-toe boots, and high-visibility vest required.
Strong report writing skills
Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
Strong proficiency with technology
Ability to stand and walk throughout shift

Responsibilities

Patrol and monitor Cox Quarry and Jamieson Quarry using a company security vehicle.
Conduct hourly exterior patrols and interior building checks, reporting hazards or suspicious activity.
Perform access control at the main gate and respond to client-approved entries.
Complete safety checks and incident reports in GTrack.
Ensure vehicle inspections at start/end of shift and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
Follow all emergency procedures (fire, medical, alarms, spills, etc.).
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and emergency responders.
