About The Position

Ready to suit up as a Tactical Traffic Control, Security Guard? What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths. As a Tactical Traffic Control Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc. This posting is for a position that is currently vacant within the organization. Requirements

Be authorized to work in Canada
Hold a valid security license
First aid certification required
Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
Exceptional customer service

Responsibilities

Traffic control of vehicles and pedestrians during construction phase
Maintain a highly visible security presence throughout the property
Monitor sensitive areas and identify suspicious activity
Verify identities and control access to restricted areas
Respond promptly to incidents, threats, alarms, and emergency situations
Conduct on-site alarm investigations and security checks
Ensure proper functioning of alarms, cameras, and security equipment
Maintain clear radio communication with HHS In-House Security throughout shifts
Document incidents, observations, and actions taken accurately
Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents or investigations
Assist nursing staff with patient restraint support when required
Support staff by addressing concerns and providing parking lot escorts as needed
