About The Position

This role requires a sharp eye and strong observation skills with attention to detail to monitor security systems and identify potential threats before they escalate. As a Health Centre Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the health centre premises.

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Valid Manitoba Security Guard License
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations
• Comfortable working in a healthcare environment
• Ability to patrol, stand, and walk for extended periods

Nice To Haves

• Use of Force training is an asset
• First Aid Training is an asset

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
