Health and Wellness Advisor
About The Position
The Health and Wellness Advisor delivers knowledgeable, personalized service while supporting sales and daily retail operations within the Nutrition and Wellness area. The role helps customers select supplements, vitamins, nutrition products, and complementary grocery items that support their health, fitness, and lifestyle goals. The Advisor educates customers, drives sales, maintains appealing merchandise displays, and keeps products organized and well stocked. The position also provides individual wellness guidance, supports promotional events, and assists Health & Beauty Care (HBC) and/or Pharmacy operations as assigned.
Requirements
- Passion for health, fitness, and nutrition.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to engage customers and build trust quickly.
- Retail, sales, or customer service experience.
- Ability to obtain a nutrition certification such as ISSA, NASM, or similar.

- Nutrition certification such as ISSA, NASM, or similar.
- Experience in a supplement store, gym, or wellness environment.
- Basic understanding of macronutrients, supplementation, and fitness goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one guidance to customers on nutrition, supplementation, and general wellness goals.
- Ask questions to understand customer needs, including weight loss, muscle gain, performance, and general health.
- Deliver practical recommendations tailored to each customer.
- Suggest complementary grocery products to reinforce recommended nutrition plans.
- Conduct body composition analyses using in-store equipment to establish baselines and track progress.
- Refer customers to pharmacy or healthcare professionals when appropriate.
- Build customer relationships that encourage repeat visits and long-term loyalty.
- Educate customers about supplements, vitamins, protein products, and wellness solutions.
- Stay current on product knowledge, ingredients, and industry trends.
- Make recommendations that align with customer goals and meet or exceed sales and performance goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked Nutrition and Wellness area.
- Oversee inventory management, merchandising, and restocking.
- Ensure product displays are engaging and aligned with promotions.
- Support in-store events, demonstrations, transformation challenges, and wellness initiatives.
- Assist with Health & Beauty Care (HBC) and/or Pharmacy operations during non-consultation periods.
- Represent the brand professionally and enthusiastically.
- Promote wellness programs, challenges, and events, and build community awareness through in-store interactions and outreach events.
