About The Position
The Assurance Group is hiring a consultative health and life insurance representative to help clients with life, health, and fixed index annuity products. Applicants with insurance experience are welcome, but experience is not required; the company trains people from a range of other industries. The role is commission-based, with fresh leads, appointment setters, training, and ongoing support provided at no cost to the agent. There is no base salary. The position is a 1099 role with a pathway to W-2 employment, and agents are paid weekly. The role offers flexibility to set and manage working hours, but includes in-person client appointments. The company operates from a home office and also has regional offices.
Requirements
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Life Insurance License; the posting describes a 20-hour online self-study course.
- Reliable transportation for in-person client appointments.
- Must be a people person.
- Work ethic and integrity suited to a career centered on helping people.
Nice To Haves
- Prior insurance agent experience is welcome but not required.
- Experience in other industries, including bartending, serving, teaching, healthcare, or military service, may be relevant.
