About The Position

The Coach is responsible for developing, leading and supporting an inclusive soccer program that brings together students with and without intellectual and physical disabilities as teammates. The Coach will create a positive, safe, challenging and welcoming environment in which every student has an opportunity to develop soccer skills, build relationships, demonstrate leadership and experience meaningful participation. The Coach will work in partnership with the Wilsonville High School Athletic Dept., Special Education staff and families to provide a high-quality Unified sports experience. This Coach serves as a mentor, teacher, role-model, and advocate for inclusion while maintaining high expectations for effort, teamwork, sportsmanship, personal growth and student belonging.
