About The Position

The Head Track and Field Coach at Northridge High School is responsible for all aspects of the head coaching role, including overseeing assistant coaches and making decisions that align with the program's direction. This position involves organizing and supervising game help, assisting with supervision at activities, and ensuring compliance with concussion training requirements. The role demands knowledge of Colorado and district content standards, leadership skills to support students' social, emotional, psychological, and academic needs, and the ability to thrive in a demanding work environment characterized by flexibility, conflict resolution, stress tolerance, quick decision-making, and long hours. Regular attendance is required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • CPR certification
  • CHSAA test and regulation
  • Concussion Education
  • Prior coaching experience in this sport
  • Applicant must complete concussion training
