About The Position

The Head Start Maintenance Custodian is responsible for thoroughly cleaning and maintaining the interior and exterior areas of Head Start buildings. The position also performs minor maintenance and repairs at all Head Start facilities. This is a full-time, full-year position working 40 hours per week in Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, Noble, and Whitley Counties, Indiana. The starting pay is $21.62 per hour.

Requirements

• Two years of experience in custodial work and/or building maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated, attentive to detail, organized, cooperative, productive, reliable, flexible, and dependable.
• Must become qualified in First Aid and CPR within 12 months of employment.
• When driving for Brightpoint, must have a valid Indiana driver's license and maintain minimum auto insurance liability limits of $100,000/$300,000.

Responsibilities
