About The Position

Coram AI is hiring a Head of Video to own the company’s video content from brief through publication. The role will raise production quality and help put Coram’s videos in front of security and IT leaders, supporting the goal of making Coram a media company for physical security. This is not an on-camera role. The position reports to the VP of Marketing and is remote, with at least two hours of daily overlap with Pacific time.

Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating creative taste and range, with the candidate’s role identified for each piece.
• At least 7 years of video-making experience, including at least 2 years owning creative for a brand, channel, or show.
• Ability to personally edit the most important pieces.
• Experience directing editors or freelancers, or managing a small team.
• Ability to explain a technical product clearly to a non-technical viewer.
• Experience publishing weekly or more frequently for at least six months.
• Clear written and spoken English.

Nice To Haves

• Experience growing an audience on YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok.
• Experience with content packaging and testing.

Responsibilities

• Own each Coram video from brief to publication, setting standards for story, pacing, b-roll, graphics, and sound.
• Direct filming of founders and subject-matter experts, and edit footage into engaging videos.
• Publish videos weekly while maintaining quality.
• Manage the video editor and a bench of freelancers.
• Repurpose long-form videos into platform-specific Shorts, Reels, TikToks, and LinkedIn clips.
• Plan video distribution with the Head of Content and SEO.
• Work with designers on titles, thumbnails, and hooks, and test what performs.
• Use AI tools to accelerate production.
