About The Position

Tutor Intelligence is hiring a Head of Technical Operations to own manufacturing, supply chain, quality, field service, and robot operations. The role reports to the CTO and is responsible for scaling the company’s production, including the teams, suppliers, and facilities needed to build substantially more robots. The Head of Technical Operations will work closely with engineering. Tutor builds hundreds of robots a year today and seeks someone with experience running production at scale and understanding operational challenges.

Requirements

Experience running manufacturing or operations at a company that builds complex hardware in volume.
Experience building an operations function and hiring the people who run it.
Experience being responsible for a fleet of products in the field, including service and support.
Ability to set targets and hire well.
Comfort working on a factory floor.

Nice To Haves

Experience with robotics or other products that combine hardware and software.
Experience with contract manufacturers.
Experience with quality systems.

Responsibilities

Own manufacturing, supply chain, quality, field service, and robot operations.
