About The Position

albo is a fintech company offering financial products to individuals and small and medium-sized businesses. The Head of SOFIPO Operations will own the operation of albo’s SOFIPO as a regulated entity, ensuring that it operates within its regulatory framework and prudential limits, submits regulatory reports on time, maintains corporate governance, and manages its relationship with the CNBV. The role will lead the SOFIPO’s start of operations alongside a regulatory advisor, build the operations team, and ensure smooth daily operations. The position also defines the SOFIPO’s permitted activities in deposit-taking and lending, provides regulatory sign-off on products and processes before launch, and coordinates with shared areas of the IFPE to determine which activities can be shared and which must remain separate. The Head will work with independent control functions as their operational counterpart, providing necessary information and access.
