About The Position

Arrive Logistics is seeking a Head of Professional Development to build and lead a scalable management development program, initially focused on Sales Managers. The role will study the practices of Arrive’s highest-performing Sales Managers and turn those findings into practical development frameworks, tools, curriculum, and coaching that managers can apply in their daily work. The program should support Arrive’s long-term growth and provide a progression from new manager to senior leader. The Head of Professional Development will coach managers individually and in groups, collaborate across Sales, RevGen, Employee Success, and executive leadership, and connect development efforts to sales performance and talent retention. This person will define and report on program outcomes, establish stakeholder buy-in, and develop a model that can eventually extend beyond Sales to other people leaders. First-year goals include documenting the practices of effective Sales Managers, launching the program and coaching across the Sales Manager population, and establishing baseline and early-trend metrics related to performance and retention.

  • At least 8 years of experience in leadership or management development, ideally in a high-growth, sales-driven environment.
  • Proven record of building development programs that measurably improved performance and retention.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to turn observations and data into clear recommendations.
  • Executive presence and ability to influence without authority.

  • Provide one-on-one and group coaching to help managers incorporate effective practices into daily habits, including running 1:1s, setting goals, giving feedback, and recognizing teams.
  • Partner with RevGen and Sales leadership to connect manager development with team productivity, ramp time, margin, new and revived logos, and wallet share expansion.
  • Partner with Employee Success Business Partners to identify organizational trends, diagnose leadership development needs, understand engagement survey and attrition data, and align coaching with talent and retention strategies.
  • Use data to identify high-impact management behaviors and drive talent retention and performance, aligning coaching with business metrics such as rep ramp time and account growth.
  • Define success metrics, track program outcomes, and report results to executive leadership.
  • Partner with the Chief Strategy Officer, RevGen leaders, and operational executives to establish trust and buy-in and embed a culture of coaching across business lines.
