About The Position

Wing is looking for a Head of Performance Marketing to join our Marketing & Communications team. This role is hybrid based in Palo Alto, CA. This senior leadership position requires a strategic powerhouse to architect and execute a high-performance growth engine that scales Wing’s drone delivery services across B2B and B2C sectors. You will lead the transition from experimental spend to high-efficiency, data-driven customer acquisition, balancing rigorous performance metrics with a sophisticated understanding of how brand health fuels the bottom line. As a cross-functional collaborator, you will integrate performance marketing into the broader brand ecosystem, ensuring every dollar spent not only drives immediate sales but also reinforces our position as the global leader in fast, residential delivery.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in performance marketing or growth roles, with a proven track record of scaling B2C and B2B products and driving significant sales volume.
  • Experience spanning the full marketing mix, demonstrating an ability to think beyond the "click" and integrate performance with broader brand and communications goals.
  • Expertise in managing and scaling multi-disciplinary teams and complex agency relationships within fast-paced, high-growth technology environments.
  • Mastery of executive communication, with the ability to present sophisticated data-driven strategies in a way that is accessible, persuasive, and builds immediate confidence with senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or equivalent practical experience in a highly analytical field.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to ~25%.

Responsibilities

  • Drive measurable growth by designing and executing full-funnel performance marketing strategies that accelerate B2B and B2C adoption.
  • Secure executive buy-in and budget approval by building clear, data-backed business cases that align performance marketing goals with overall company milestones and financial targets.
  • Translate complex performance datasets into compelling, easy-to-understand narratives and presentations for executive leadership, driving consensus on spend and strategy across Finance, Product, and Operations.
  • Optimize high dollar media budgets to maximize ROI and lower customer acquisition costs (CAC) through relentless testing and attribution modeling.
  • Lead a high-performing internal team and manage a top-tier media agency to ensure world-class execution across search, social, programmatic, and emerging channels.
  • Scale the performance engine by operationalizing data-driven frameworks that translate complex analytics into actionable insights for executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with our broader Marketing and Communications teams to ensure performance campaigns, creative, and messaging are consistent.
  • Engineer a robust measurement stack that tracks the long-term impact of performance spend on brand equity and lifetime value (LTV).
