We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Product and Performance Marketing to build and lead a function serving highly regulated and mission-critical industries. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the defense and commercial sectors, including government contracting, DoW and Fed/Civ procurement processes, B2G (business-to-government) and B2B (business-to-business) marketing strategies as well as proven experience building high-performing teams, standing up demand generation engines, and implementing marketing technology solutions that deliver measurable pipeline and revenue impact. This leader will play a pivotal role in shaping and expanding BigBear.ai’s creative identity and brand story — enhancing credibility with government stakeholders, broadening appeal in commercial markets, and positioning the company as a trusted authority in AI-driven decision intelligence. This role partners closely with the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, who oversees overall brand identity and reputation building and defense, to ensure alignment between brand, go-to-market strategy, and enterprise narrative, while maintaining clear accountability, including the company’s digital presence, sponsorships, customer events, product marketing and broader sales enablement activity. This role requires not only the ability to develop and execute campaigns that drive brand awareness, support business development, and align with federal acquisition and compliance standards, but also the leadership and relationship-management skills to collaborate effectively with executive stakeholders, product teams, and business development.
