Requirements

  • 15+ years of People leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a Head of People or VP-equivalent role
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with C-level executives and senior leaders and influence outcomes
  • Experience at a high-growth tech company between Series B and Series D
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity without waiting for permission to act
  • Experience in a healthcare, health tech, or regulated industry company
  • Background supporting engineering or product organizations specifically
  • Familiarity with Rippling as HRIS
  • Exposure to AI enablement or responsible AI adoption within a People function
  • Demonstrated ability to lead across two distinct workforce populations: a technical org and a high-volume or operationally intensive workforce (clinical, support, call center, or similar)
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Must live in and be eligible to work in the United States
  • All staff at Arine are expected to be part of its Information Security Management Program and undergo periodic training on Information Security Awareness and HIPAA guidelines. Each user is responsible to maintain a secure working environment and follow all policies and procedures. Upon hire, each person is assigned and must complete trainings before access is granted for their specific role within Arine.

Responsibilities

  • Develop People strategies that align with and support opportunities for cross-team collaboration and org efficiencies.
  • Serve as the organization's change management resource, equipping SLT and function heads with frameworks and support to lead their teams through change.
  • Partner with function heads to develop their management capabilities.
  • Advise on organizational design as Arine continues to scale and add complexity.
  • Own the headcount planning and backfill governance process in partnership with the CFO.
  • Own the design and execution of organizational health monitoring, reporting on trends to leadership, and driving action plans that close identified gaps.
  • Own the ongoing pulse survey program and translate anonymous data into SLT-level recommendations with clarity and urgency.
  • Serve as a thought partner for cultural initiatives and improvements to the employee experience based on data.
  • Oversee the recruiting function and ensure recruiting efforts align with expectations for diverse requisitions across technical and clinical roles, ensuring a holistic view of the candidate/employee lifecycle.
  • Partner with recruiting leads on offer strategy, compensation benchmarking, and leveling decisions.
  • Lead talent assessment and succession planning initiatives.
  • Partner with functional leads to define paths for employee development.
  • Own the full people operations foundation: HRIS (Rippling), immigration, benefits, compliance, and leave management.
  • Ensure the team runs with precision, especially on time-sensitive legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Continue the AI-enabled People Ops work already in flight, including workflow automation and analytics, while continuing to identify opportunities for automation and enablement across the company within accessible Rippling tools and dashboards.
  • Develop knowledge transfer initiatives and improve employee onboarding to decrease time to productivity.
  • Lead, develop, and advocate for the People Team, guiding team members to the best possible and timely outcomes.
  • Identify and invest in the development paths of your directs, particularly those who are stepping into new responsibilities.
