About The Position

Chainlink Labs is seeking a sales leader to build and scale a new institutional offering that helps financial institutions launch and operate digital asset initiatives through a unified, Chainlink-led approach. The role will shape how banks, asset managers, custodians, and financial market infrastructures access the technology and services needed to bring global finance on-chain. Working across Chainlink capabilities and its partner ecosystem, the role will help define an offering that connects custody, tokenization, legacy systems, compliance, and cross-chain distribution, validate demand, and create commercial opportunities. This hands-on commercial leadership position is tasked with building a new business from the ground up. The successful candidate will define priority customer segments, shape pricing and packaging, and personally lead initial strategic deals. The role works closely with internal account owners and cross-functional teams to develop the offering, close flagship deals, and enable the broader Banking & Capital Markets Sales organization to scale adoption. Chainlink Labs is remote-first. Employment eligibility depends on residing in an approved hiring jurisdiction, and team members may work outside their primary country of legal residence for no more than 90 days per calendar year. Working hours must overlap with Eastern Time unless otherwise stated for the role.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience across banking, capital markets, fintech, or digital asset infrastructure, with a strong track record in senior commercial roles.
  • Demonstrated success building a new commercial offering, go-to-market motion, or business line from initial market validation through early revenue and repeatable growth.
  • Deep understanding of institutional digital asset infrastructure, including tokenization, custody, stablecoins, interoperability, and compliance, and how these capabilities address institutional needs.
  • Proven ability to engage C-level stakeholders and personally close complex, multi-million-dollar deals with financial institutions.
  • Strong commercial judgment and ability to assess market demand, prioritize opportunities, and translate customer insight into compelling propositions and commercial models.
  • Hands-on, player-coach approach, combining direct ownership of strategic deals with establishing processes and enabling other sellers.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and bring structure to ambiguous opportunities, aligning technical and commercial stakeholders around priorities and execution.

Nice To Haves

  • An established senior network across regional banks, asset managers, custodians, financial market infrastructures, and digital asset firms.
  • Experience packaging platform technology with professional or advisory services and developing commercial models across a partner ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with regulated financial markets, institutional procurement, and the compliance and governance requirements involved in adopting new infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for a unified digital asset infrastructure offering, including priority markets, customer profiles, target accounts, and value proposition.
  • Lead structured discovery with senior institutional stakeholders to understand business priorities, buying committees, budget ownership, and adoption requirements.
  • Identify and prioritize commercial opportunities across tokenized assets, tokenized deposits, custody connectivity, institutional data, compliance, and cross-chain distribution.
  • Originate, advance, and close flagship customer deals, working alongside internal account owners to build executive alignment and navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Develop scalable pricing, packaging, services models, and partner economics for institutional customers and repeatable commercial growth.
  • Partner with Product, Solutions Architecture, Legal, Marketing, and Partnerships to align customer requirements with technical scope, commercial terms, and market positioning.
  • Turn early opportunities and customer wins into sales playbooks, qualification criteria, and enablement materials for the broader BCM Sales organization.
