About The Position

TRUCE is a mobile device software company with a strong startup spirit. Major US and international companies have trusted our mobile technology for over a decade to keep their workforces safe and productive. We are now disrupting the video telematics industry with an AI video telematics solution built differently on modern iOS and Android mobile technology. Where traditional platforms wire complex and expensive computers and cameras into the vehicle, TRUCE puts the intelligence on the phones field workers already carry and complements it with a light camera accessory.
The result is a person-first platform that always knows who's driving, follows the work from the truck onto the job site, empowers the driver to own their driving performance, coaches each individual automatically and can stop phone distraction rather than just record it — at about 50% lower cost and far easier to implement than traditional systems. Our customers are mobile field organizations, like HVAC, plumbing and electrical, landscaping, pest control, construction and specialty trades, field sales and home healthcare — running light-duty vehicle fleets.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of B2B technology marketing, including 3+ years owning a pipeline or sourced-revenue number with results you can show
• Experience managing event marketing as a primary channel
• Track record optimizing digital marketing campaigns utilizing state-of-the-art AI tools
• Hands-on with CRM and marketing automation, organic and paid social media, AI search / answer-engine optimization, inbound web marketing, and comfortable analyzing funnel and campaign data
• Able to travel about 30% in event season

Nice To Haves

• Experience from an early or growth-stage startup environment is a strong plus
• Experience at a provider of telematics, dash cameras, fleet management software or field service software is a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for marketing-sourced pipeline and qualified opportunities for our AI video telematics business
• Own the development and execution of our marketing and brand-building strategy — analyze and optimize lead-gen effectiveness, being simultaneously hands-on and strategic to find creative, scrappy ways to get optimal results from a startup marketing budget
• Plan and coordinate in-person and virtual industry events, from show selection and pre-event outreach to on-site meetings, follow-up and reporting on pipeline per event
• Optimize web, social media, AI search / answer-engine optimization, email and other digital marketing initiatives across our target mobile field organization market and existing customer base
• Run partner marketing including co-marketing, enablement and joint events with field service software, fuel card, maintenance management and insurance GTM partners
• Develop marketing content and campaigns using state-of-the-art AI tools
• Oversee our market-facing systems (CRM, marketing automation, website)
• Be part of the GTM leadership team, working closely with all market-facing teams and overseeing marketing contractors and service providers
