About The Position

This role is for a Head of Marketing to run the marketing machine for a portfolio of eCommerce brands including ROAD iD, DOG iD, and Rack Rabbit. The brands are founder-forward, with a strategy of sounding, feeling, and acting like real people at every touchpoint. The Head of Marketing will partner directly with the Founder, taking the existing brand asset and building a world-class growth engine around it. The position involves leading the entire marketing, eComm, and creative organization, including direct reports from Marketing Managers, an eComm team, and a Creative Director. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a focus on driving brand-level growth and managing a significant budget.

Requirements

  • DTC eCommerce expertise with a strong performance marketing backbone.
  • Experience scaling brands through Meta advertising and creative scaling.
  • Fluent in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Klaviyo, Shopify.
  • Ability to ask the right questions, identify problems, and step in when needed.
  • Strategic and process-driven mindset, capable of both high-level strategy and workflow optimization.
  • AI-forward approach, with experience building AI workflows and identifying AI solutions for problems.
  • Hungry, energetic, and a go-getter with a desire to make a significant impact.
  • Voracious learner with a passion for DTC and eComm.
  • Coaching mentality with a focus on developing people.
  • Ability to move fast and make decisions without seeking constant permission.
  • Ability to ship strategy into launched campaigns, fixed funnels, or improved processes.
  • Experience running an entire marketing machine, not just specific pieces.
  • Comfort working in a scrappy environment without extensive support teams.
  • Ability to run existing systems, understand them, and then evolve them.
  • Ability to move fast and make decisions quickly.

  • Knowledge of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and L10 meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, Manage, and hold Accountable the marketing, eComm, and creative teams.
  • Develop brand-level growth strategy.
  • Own budget and forecasting for marketing across all three brands, including identifying profitable ad spend.
  • Manage agency and vendor relationships, including hiring, accountability, and termination.
  • Act as a sounding board and coach for team leaders.
  • Lead special projects, including exploring new channels, tests, and brands.
  • Own marketing measurables and represent marketing on the leadership team.
  • Make root-level decisions for the company.
