Head of Infant Classroom
About The Position
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Head of Infant Classroom to lead our infant program with passion and expertise. This role involves overseeing daily classroom operations, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for our youngest learners, and supporting our team of caring teachers. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in early childhood education, infant care, and classroom management to inspire both staff and children alike. We are looking for a program leader with at least 2 years of infant care experience who wants to grow with a warm, supportive management team. (Primrose experience is a major plus!)
Requirements
- Proven experience working with infants in daycare or preschool settings with strong classroom management skills.
- At least two years working in a licensed setting with infants as this is a lead role.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers.
- Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration.
- Ability to lead by example in implementing safety procedures and fostering a warm classroom environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage daily routines efficiently while maintaining high standards of care.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the infant classroom team, fostering a positive, collaborative atmosphere focused on positive child development and safety.
- Implement our age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early learning milestones in areas such as social-emotional skills, motor development, and language acquisition.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and health regulations.
- Communicate regularly with parents to share progress updates, address concerns, and build trusting relationships that support each child's growth.
- Oversee daily classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap schedules, and activity planning to ensure a nurturing, productive environment.
- Train and mentor teaching staff on best practices in infant care, behavior management, classroom management, and early childhood education.
