Head of GTM Engineering

Engrain•Greenwood Village, CO
•$155,000 - $175,000

About The Position

Engrain is seeking a Head of GTM Engineering to design and deploy automated workflows and AI-driven systems that connect Product, Marketing, Sales, and Partnerships. Reporting directly to the CEO, this high-autonomy role will build a production-grade revenue engine that uses AI-agent orchestration and hyper-automation to turn ecosystem signals into measurable growth. The role spans the buyer lifecycle, from identifying demand and intent through product adoption and expansion, and aims to reduce departmental silos and customer friction. The Head of GTM Engineering will work with senior stakeholders across Engineering, Marketing, RevOps, and Sales to develop technically sound, brand-aligned, and operationally supported growth systems. The role also includes establishing technical governance for GTM automation, documenting automated logic, improving the buyer journey, and building scalable infrastructure that helps teams meet targets without increasing manual headcount.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in Growth Engineering, Revenue Operations, or Technical Product Management in a SaaS or infrastructure environment.
  • Expert-level knowledge of automation layers and AI orchestration, including the ability to discuss data models and go-to-market strategy.
  • Proven experience operating as an individual contributor in a high-growth environment, ideally building systems later handed off to expanding leadership teams.
  • A systems-first approach focused on scalable systems, plumbing, and infrastructure rather than manual workarounds or campaign execution alone.
  • Deep expertise in API-driven ecosystems, integration platforms such as Make or Zapier, and CRM architecture such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Experience building automation workflows that use AI agents to process behavioral or ecosystem signals into actionable triggers.
  • Ability to influence leaders across Marketing, Sales, and Product and translate technical automation into commercial value.
  • Comfort setting an independent roadmap, debugging systems, and demonstrating ROI through data.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in real estate technology; experience in other complex B2B industries with a systems-first mindset is also valued.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy AI-driven automation and RevOps systems across the buyer lifecycle, from initial intent signals through product adoption and expansion.
  • Build automated mechanisms to detect prospect and partner readiness to adopt Engrain products and trigger coordinated actions across CRM and marketing technology systems.
  • Partner with the SVP of Engineering, VP of Marketing, and Directors of RevOps and Sales to ensure automated growth plays are technically sound, brand-aligned, and operationally supported.
  • Create systems that increase product exposure across property portfolios and partner platforms.
  • Work with Engineering to ensure GTM automation follows Engrain’s data security and API standards and uses scalable infrastructure rather than shadow IT.
  • Build and maintain documentation of the revenue engine and its automated logic.
  • Audit the buyer journey to identify friction and build automated fast-track systems, such as frictionless calls to action and instant data provisioning, to reduce time-to-value.
  • Consult with VP-level stakeholders to understand bottlenecks and build automation that helps them achieve targets without adding manual headcount.
  • Set and manage the role’s roadmap, debug systems, and demonstrate return on investment through data.

Benefits

  • 100% coverage of the employee’s health, dental, and vision insurance with the basic plan.
  • Up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave.
  • Up to 18 days of annual PTO and 10 holidays per year.
  • Dog-friendly office.
  • 401(k) match up to 4 percent.
  • Annual personal-growth stipend through the Grow475 program.
  • On-site amenities including a professional fitness center, flexible and modern workspace, coffee bar, happy hour taps, and team member lounge.
