About The Position

Juno leverages collective bargaining power to secure better student loan rates for graduate students. With 290,000+ members and over $2B in negotiated loan volume, we've proven that group buying works. We are the most popular way to pay for the world’s top graduate programs and are seeking a leader to help us grow even further among law students. The Problem: Federal lending reforms have created a significant market shift. In July 2026, new caps on federal graduate loans, including the elimination of Grad PLUS for new students, came into effect leaving millions of students with significant funding gaps. Students need transparent, competitive private options, exactly what Juno provides. Your mission: We're seeking a leader to own our full-funnel growth for law schools. Your efforts will ensure every future lawyer gets fair, transparent financing options. You'll build the playbook for reaching 200+ law schools and establishing Juno as the go-to resource for law student financing.

Requirements

Typically 3–5+ years or an outlier track record (e.g., you scaled a campus network, ran national org programming, built a zero‑to‑one motion).
Preference for experience in professional services, management consulting, investment banking, or high-growth startups
Preference for an Owner‑operator who has owned a number in growth/BD/marketplaces/fintech/edtech or campus‑scale programs.
Ownership of a number, end to end: you'll carry the Law vertical's funded-loan target and the conversion rates underneath it. You're comfortable being both the person who explains a miss and the person who fixes it.
Bias to action: ship experiments frequently; instrument attribution; close loops with lender relations & compliance.
Fluency with your own data: you can find where students stall between a rate offer and a submitted application, and make the case for a fix with evidence rather than instinct.
Relationship-building that compounds: schools, student organizations, ambassadors, admissions communities, and lender partners. Equally comfortable on a call with a target B2B partner and in a group chat with 1Ls.
Comfort with seasonality: our year has a peak. You plan for it months ahead and go all-in when it lands.
Tenacity: we work as hard as it takes to achieve our targets.

Responsibilities

Own the law school vertical: Build and execute GTM strategy, hit growth targets, and drive Juno member growth
Scale distribution through partnerships: Negotiate national deals with key organizations that can help reach our target market, Activate campus-based chapters with turnkey playbooks, Build relationships with financial aid offices at target schools, Partner with LSAT prep companies and law school admissions ecosystem, Run targeted campaigns aligned to application cycles
Build a campus ambassador network: Recruit, train, and manage high-performing law students across JD/LLM programs with clear KPIs and incentives
Talk to members directly: Talk to students directly throughout the cycle. Calls, email, DMs, campus visits. You should know the top five reasons a law student with a rate offer never submits an application because you've heard them first-hand, not because a dashboard told you.
Be the expert students trust: Become fluent in how graduate borrowing actually works — federal vs. private, what drives a rate, cosigners, in-school deferral, refinancing, and what changed under the new caps — and be the person who can give a 1L a straight answer.
Drive cross-functional initiatives: Partner with product on feature development, collaborate with the CX/client happiness team, and ensure compliance on messaging
Manage operations and analytics: Forecast pipeline, track cohort performance, optimize CAC/LTV, and manage budget allocation
Partner with senior leadership to own waitlist growth → loan origination: landing pages, A/B tests, content, webinars, email/SMS, and event cycles aligned to application, admissions, and financial aid timelines
