About The Position

The Head of FP&A will lead the North America team and have overall responsibility for all forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning activities of the NAM region, and ad-hoc financial analysis and supporting commercial reporting activities. This role will work closely with counterparts and other financial stakeholders across the Minerals Division to drive standard process and procedures for all FP&A and commercial reporting activities. The successful individual will have a strategic mindset and strong commercial acumen and will have experience of people leadership and driving organizational change.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required
  • Experience leading FP&A or Commercial Finance teams, developing talent, and delivering results.
  • Able to navigate multi-jurisdiction environments and collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Translates financial data into insights that guide business decisions and growth.
  • Experienced in financial modeling, reporting tools (e.g., SAP), and presenting clear insights to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end‑to‑end review, reporting, and analysis of monthly business performance, turning data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Partner closely across teams to ensure everyone has visibility into performance and feels empowered to act.
  • Work hand-in-hand with finance, commercial, and operational leaders to deliver meaningful variance analysis that highlights trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Build a shared understanding of performance and drive aligned decision-making.
  • Champion a standardized, inclusive approach to forecasting and budgeting, bringing consistency and clarity across the region.
  • Lead the development of forecasts, annual budgets, and strategic plans that inspire confidence and guide future growth.
  • Proactively uncover opportunities to optimize performance and support leaders with ad-hoc analysis that enables smart, timely decisions.
  • Create space for curiosity, challenge assumptions, and continuously look for ways to improve.
  • Build and lead a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and continuous improvement.
