About The Position

Spreetail is seeking a hands-on, player-coach Head of Enterprise FP&A to build and run company-wide financial planning. Reporting to the VP of Finance & Data Management, this role owns the annual operating plan (AOP), long-range planning (LRP), reforecasts, and enterprise consolidation processes end to end. The role designs the planning calendar and consolidation framework, standardizes reporting, and personally builds and documents scalable planning and reporting processes. It includes one direct report to mentor and work alongside, rather than responsibility for managing a large team. The Head of Enterprise FP&A connects finance, executive leadership, and operational teams, using financial insight to support strategic decisions and hold stakeholders accountable for commitments. The role will establish consistent financial definitions and KPIs, create trusted global consolidation and enterprise reporting, and replace manual work with clearer, faster, scalable systems. Spreetail uses a Work Your Way approach that lets team members choose where they work most effectively each week, with corporate teams gathering in Lincoln quarterly for a week of collaboration, team building, community engagement, and an All-Hands meeting. Work Your Way eligibility is limited to applicants residing in listed states.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in FP&A, finance operations, or enterprise planning.
  • Track record of running AOP and multi-year planning cycles end to end, from kickoff through executive readout.
  • Ability to align competing priorities across functions and keep teams moving toward a shared plan.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills.
  • Hands-on experience improving consolidation, reporting systems, and process rigor.
  • Clear, confident communication skills and the influence to drive accountability across levels, from analysts to executives.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a high-growth or complex environment where structure needed to be built rather than inherited.

  • Own and run the full planning cycle, including AOP, reforecasts, and LRP, from start to finish.
  • Design the planning calendar and set project timelines and milestones that keep the company aligned.
  • Gather and pressure-test inputs from every function, setting planning frameworks and assumptions.
  • Build the enterprise consolidation framework and establish global consolidation and enterprise reporting.
  • Standardize financial definitions and KPIs to create a trusted single source of truth.
  • Design and document scalable planning and reporting processes to replace manual work and improve clarity and speed.
  • Provide executive-ready outputs and translate financial insight into decisions with executive leadership.
  • Align cross-functional teams and hold senior stakeholders accountable for their commitments.
  • Mentor and work alongside one direct report.

Benefits

  • Generous vacation policy.
  • Paid time off for wedding week.
  • Paid parental leave and support for parents of growing families.
  • Affordable medical, dental, and vision plans with coast-to-coast coverage.
  • Free telehealth and on-demand mental health resources.
  • Paid time off for community service and social impact.
  • Annual milestone recognition, which may include special gifts, swag store credit, or a donation to a nonprofit of the employee’s choice.
  • Spreetail Spotlight Awards recognizing employees pursuing impact.
