About The Position

The Group Head of Engineering leads System Crew’s engineering function, comprising in-house engineers and specialist contractors who deliver projects, operate client environments and staff the service desk across several time zones. The role is accountable for planning, delegating, delivering and documenting engineering work, and for raising the team’s technical standards. The successful candidate will build an engineering organisation that can scale with the group, deliver work on time with clear ownership, and incorporate AI and automation into everyday work. The role reports to the Group Managing Director and works closely with sales and pre-sales on solution design and bids. It calls for someone who enjoys infrastructure engineering, stays current with technology and remains comfortable investigating technical issues directly. System Crew is a managed IT services group operating across eight countries in the Americas, the Caribbean and Europe. It designs, builds and operates IT infrastructure for organisations with demanding requirements, supporting client operations in more than 70 locations worldwide. The group is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001.
