About The Position

Craftmasters is building a new, best-in-class skills education institution for the modern workforce, offering a rigorous, industry-connected learning environment. As a new vertical of Full Sail University, Craftmasters is in its pre-launch phase. This role begins as a part-time consulting engagement (10-20 hours/week remotely) and transitions into a full-time, on-campus position in Orlando, FL, with salary and benefits applying from that point forward. The Head of Electrical Trade Education will lead the day-to-day excellence of the Electrical program, ensuring curriculum relevance, faculty performance, and strong industry relationships. This leadership role requires presence, visibility, and accountability for student outcomes. Responsibilities include curriculum development, faculty supervision, student retention, hiring and coaching instructors, building industry partnerships, managing the Program Advisory Committee, monitoring program outcomes, and ensuring accreditation compliance.

Requirements

  • Minimum six (6) years of verifiable, expert-level electrical field experience
  • Active electrical licensure required
  • At least two (2) years in a supervisory or leadership capacity
  • Ability and willingness to teach program courses
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required, or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Familiarity with NEC and NFPA 70E required
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an educational setting is a plus, but not required. The ability to train and manage crews, and take ownership of outcomes, is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Electrical program including curriculum development, faculty supervision, and student retention
  • Help source and hire instructors who bring genuine field experience into the classroom, then coach and develop them once on board
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry employers and lead our Program Advisory Committee
  • Partner with Admissions and Marketing on program positioning and campus events
  • Monitor program outcomes and drive continuous improvement in completion and placement rates
  • Ensure compliance with ACCSC accreditation standards and state and Department of Education requirements
  • Carry a teaching load, particularly during the startup phase and as coverage needs arise
