Head of Data & AI

Mutual of Enumclaw Insurance Company•Seattle, WA
•$207,700 - $257,600•Onsite

About The Position

The Head of Data & AI is Mutual of Enumclaw’s enterprise leader for data and artificial intelligence. This is a strategy and execution role focused on setting the vision, deciding where the organization should buy, partner, or build, and putting AI into underwriting, claims, and distribution workflows. MOE currently takes a buy-first approach to AI, so the role will often involve selecting partners, connecting their solutions to company data and core systems, and driving adoption. The role also determines when better data or simpler automation is more appropriate than AI. The position owns enterprise data and AI strategy and roadmap; AI use-case prioritization; vendor and partner selection and oversight; the modern data platform as part of the cloud transition; data governance; responsible AI and regulatory readiness; adoption and value measurement; and team development. It leads a lean, high-impact Data & AI team and represents MOE on AI in regional property and casualty insurance. The role is onsite in Seattle, Washington. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates. The hiring range is $207,700–$230,500, and the salary range is $207,700–$257,600.
