About The Position

The Head of Frontier AI leads revenue growth from model builders across foundation and frontier AI labs, large technology companies, and enterprises. This commercial leadership role owns client relationships end to end while serving as the customer voice inside Invisible and partnering with Product and Engineering to turn customer needs into scalable offerings. The role focuses on expanding existing accounts, winning new clients, and developing revenue lines alongside core RLHF and SFT services, including staff augmentation, data brokerage, and agentic trajectories. The position owns the model-builder revenue number, including bookings, net revenue retention, and new-logo targets. It leads account planning, sales and negotiations, forecasting, senior customer relationships, and delivery escalations. It also works across Product, Engineering, Delivery, and Operations to shape product packaging and pricing, pilot new offerings, and ensure sold solutions can be delivered at quality and margin. As the business scales, the Head of Frontier AI will build and lead a team of account executives and engagement leads and represent Invisible in the frontier AI community. Success includes establishing plans and stakeholder relationships across key accounts, managing the pipeline and forecast across customer segments, advancing a deal in a new revenue line, and aligning with Product and Engineering on customer-driven priorities. In the first year, the role is expected to meet its revenue target, increase the mix of recurring productized offerings, land new customers across segments, and establish a repeatable sales motion with a ramped team.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in enterprise sales, business development, or account leadership, including 3+ years leading a team or a major book of business.
  • Existing senior relationships at one or more foundation or frontier AI labs, plus credibility with AI leaders at large technology companies or enterprises.
  • Track record of closing and expanding multi-million-dollar, multi-year deals with technical buyers.
  • Working fluency in frontier model development, including pretraining, SFT, RLHF, RL environments, evaluations, and agentic systems.
  • Experience selling a portfolio that combines services and technology, with commercial instincts for pricing, packaging, and margin.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Delivery to shape what gets built.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior leadership at an AI data, training, or evaluation company, or on the data side of a frontier lab.
  • Experience shifting a services business toward productized or platform revenue.
  • Exposure to staffing, talent marketplaces, or data licensing models.
  • Experience selling AI/ML platforms or services to enterprises adopting agentic AI.
  • Technical background in computer science, machine learning, or a quantitative field.

Responsibilities

  • Own model-builder revenue across labs, technology companies, and enterprises, including bookings, net revenue retention, and new-logo targets.
  • Build and run account plans for key accounts, including whitespace mapping across the four offerings.
  • Source, scope, price, and close new programs; lead negotiations on MSAs, SOWs, and commercial terms.
  • Forecast accurately and maintain a disciplined pipeline.
  • Own senior relationships with research leads, post-training and AI platform teams, data leads, and procurement at each account.
  • Build relationships with multiple stakeholders at each account so they do not depend on a single champion.
  • Run executive business reviews and use delivery results to drive account expansion.
  • Escalate and resolve delivery issues before they threaten renewals.
  • Bring structured customer insights to Product and Engineering, including upcoming training needs, data bottlenecks, and willingness to pay.
  • Co-define packaging and pricing for productized offerings and move revenue toward repeatable, higher-margin products.
  • Pilot staff augmentation, data brokerage, and agentic trajectory revenue lines with early adopters and turn pilots into standard offerings.
  • Partner with Delivery and Operations to ensure sold offerings can be delivered with quality and margin.
  • Build and lead a team of account executives and engagement leads as the business scales.
  • Represent Invisible in the frontier AI community through conferences, research relationships, and thought leadership.
  • Track competitors and market pricing and contribute to positioning and strategy.
