•$240,000 - $333,000

About The Position

As Head of GEN Customer Network Solutions (CNS), you will lead, mentor, and scale a multidisciplinary organization of Technical Program Managers, Program Managers (BRMs), and Network Engineers (CSEs), and serve as a core member of the GEN Senior Leadership Team. You will direct the strategic customer portfolio across Alphabet Product Areas, own executive relationships, govern annual demand and capacity planning, oversee Out-of-Plan intake and financial governance, and shape customer demand toward standardized, high-autonomy NextGEN network services rather than bespoke engineering. The role combines executive business acumen with technical judgment. You will oversee strategic partnership governance, including executive business reviews, customer reviews, customer health scores, and customer program representation, alongside customer engineering execution such as technical requirements, proofs of concept, and product lifecycle integration. You will advocate organizational transformation and operational velocity, leveraging AI-driven workflows to improve delivery cycle times and scale GEN’s impact across Alphabet. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects throughout their lifecycle. This includes planning requirements with internal customers, managing schedules, identifying risks, and communicating with stakeholders, while engaging with both executives and engineers on analyses, recommendations, and technical trade-offs.

  • Technical judgment in enterprise network architecture, security, and AI-enabled networking to guide technical solutioning, Proofs of Concept, and Product Lifecycle gates.
