About The Position

BM Digital is seeking a Head of Creative Strategy to lead and enhance the creative product across its entire client portfolio. This role is focused on operating a performance creative machine, developing frameworks, implementing best practices, mentoring strategists, and ensuring all creative output is data-informed and optimized for performance. The ideal candidate will bridge creative excellence with direct response, possess deep platform knowledge, understand conversion drivers, and have the leadership skills to elevate an entire team. This position requires a strategic thinker who can translate market trends into actionable strategies and manage a high-volume, high-quality creative output.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in performance creative, with a majority spent at an agency managing a large client portfolio.
  • Proven ability to context-switch rapidly between diverse client types (e.g., DTC skincare, fitness apps, consumer tech).
  • Demonstrated experience driving revenue and measurable impact on conversion rates and cost per acquisition.
  • Fluency in direct response creative, understanding thumb-stop drivers, conversion blockers, and concept iteration/killing.
  • Strong opinions on Meta vs. TikTok ad effectiveness backed by data from actual accounts.
  • Experience building and developing teams, including junior and senior strategists.
  • Ability to run a team that owns live client accounts under performance pressure.
  • Experience maintaining high quality, client confidence, and team alignment in high-volume environments.

Responsibilities

  • Owning and evolving the creative standard across all clients, formats, and platforms.
  • Tracking emerging trends on Meta and TikTok to inform SOPs, playbooks, and best practice frameworks.
  • Developing and mentoring a team of performance creative strategists to improve diagnostic skills, direct response fluency, and creative point-of-view.
  • Building a culture where creative decisions are data-grounded while preserving instinct and taste.
  • Establishing standards, workflows, and SOPs for the production team in collaboration with the lead editor.
  • Ensuring creative strategy and creator processes are aligned with talent management.
  • Owning the creative side of new client onboarding to ensure early wins and establish proof of concept.
  • Serving as the senior creative voice for clients, presenting strategy with conviction, providing feedback, and building client confidence.
  • Translating market signals into repeatable systems and ensuring individual wins compound.
