About The Position

Abode Money is seeking a Head of Creative Strategy to build and lead the creative function for the company. This role will own the creative strategy and execution for paid channels, organic content, and brand extension into offline channels. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a strong performance marketing mindset, experienced in building creative engines from the ground up, and proficient in leveraging AI for efficient content production and testing. This is an opportunity to shape a category-defining brand for homeowners.

Requirements

  • Experience building a creative engine from zero, including sourcing, production, testing, and reporting.
  • Experience living in the creator economy and turning creators into a repeatable, high-performing channel.
  • Ability to think like a performance marketer with strong creative taste.
  • Ability to produce creative work directly, not just direct it.
  • Clear and concise writing skills focused on conversion.
  • Proficiency in using AI for production and workflow automation.
  • Systems-thinking approach to creative campaigns.
  • Strong taste and the ability to hold it under pressure, while also changing direction based on data.
  • Demonstrated experience building a creative engine from zero, with a portfolio showcasing work across static, UGC, and video.
  • Comfortable using AI in production to increase output and accelerate testing.
  • Strong performance instincts, with the ability to analyze live creative and identify what's working and why.
  • Based in Austin and able to work onsite 4 days a week.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience owning creative against paid metrics like CAC or ROAS.
  • Hands-on experience running creator-led content as a channel.
  • Experience with creative for paid on Meta or TikTok.

Responsibilities

  • Own the creative that drives paid channels, including concepts, production, testing, and learnings across static, UGC, and video.
  • Lead creative testing, including test design, success criteria, iteration cadence, and a learnings loop, in collaboration with media buyers.
  • Build and manage the creator-led content engine, encompassing sourcing, briefing, production workflows, and scaling successful content.
  • Lead organic creative strategy, production, and cadence.
  • Own messaging across ads, landing pages, lifecycle marketing, and organic content.
  • Oversee content production to build a repeatable pipeline that ships at volume.
  • Shape the brand and extend it into offline channels such as experiential, out-of-home, and direct mail.
  • Set the creative vision as the brand scales.
