About The Position

Spekit is building the revenue enablement solution for the AI-powered future. We're hiring a senior content and communications leader to own how Spekit shows up in the world: what we say, how we say it, and the brand and editorial point of view underneath all of it. You'll lead the content, brand, social, influencer, PR, and exec comms functions through AI-powered acceleration. You'll partner directly with our Product Marketing, Demand Gen, Product Design, and executive leaders to create a powerful, consistent and compelling brand presence in the market. It's a leadership and hands-on execution role for someone who thinks in narratives, writes with conviction, and knows the difference between content that gets clicks and content that builds a category, and when to use which one. This is a high-visibility role with significant impact across marketing, brand, sales, product marketing, customer success, product design, and executive leadership. We are very enthusiastic about candidates based in the Denver area but are open to strong applicants elsewhere in the US or Canada.

Requirements

  • An editorial leader, not a marketing generalist. You think like a publisher, building content calendars and systems that lead to scalable engines for market engagement.
  • A ruthless prioritizer. You've operated with broad scope before and you know that the job is as much about saying no as it is about shipping. You build the case for focus, drive alignment with cross-functional partners, and protect the team from work that doesn't move the brand forward.
  • A strong writer and editor. You don't delegate the standard. You're hands-on with the most important work and you'd never sign off on something you wouldn't write yourself.
  • A creative partner who can keep up with a hands-on CEO. You're energized by founders and executives who care deeply about brand, voice, and craft. You can hold your own in the work, push back with conviction, and still ship.
  • A category thinker. You understand how categories form, mature, and consolidate. You've worked in or around a market that was changing structurally, and you have a point of view on how brand and narrative shape outcomes when feature differentiation gets harder.
  • A proven communicator. You've run PR programs that delivered narrative outcomes, not just placements. You've ghostwritten for executives, prepped them for keynotes, and protected them in tough moments. You're calm in a crisis and clear in ambiguity.
  • Hands-on with AI. You've built your own AI tools — agents, custom GPTs, prompt libraries, agentic workflows — and used them to multiply your output. You don't wait for someone to hand you a playbook; you experiment and build.
  • A cross-functional partner, not a silo. You've built strong working relationships with Demand Gen, PMM, Product, and CS leaders grounded in shared goals and honest communication.
  • Scrappy and scalable. You're energized by a lean environment where you're doing the work yourself today, and you have the experience and vision to know how to grow the team around you over time.
  • Direct, low-ego, and fast. You give and take feedback well. You're allergic to corporate bloat and slide theater. You'd rather ship and learn than wait and polish.

  • Lead the development of high-impact, creatively compelling content across formats, including thought leadership, demand campaigns, web, social, video, customer stories, executive content, and PR.
  • Lead programs for executive visibility, influencer engagement, and earned media opportunities to expand brand reach and authority.
  • Own organic social by creating a presence that's opinionated, useful and unmistakably Spekit, including supporting executive social comms programs.
  • Own the editorial and brand for the website, including home pages, blogs, customer stories and resource centers.
  • Partner with Demand Gen to drive lead gen and conversions on the web channel.
