About The Position

About Terra AI We are building the state-of-the-art AI platform for the discovery and development of clean energy and mineral resources. We bring the most advanced techniques in generative AI, foundation modeling, and autonomous decision optimization to tackle the most important problems in the geosciences. These systems can help more reliably identify critical resource deposits, more rapidly measure and characterize them, and design more efficient and sustainable production plans. We are backed by Khosla Ventures and other leading venture investors. We are now looking to grow our team from ~15 to ~30 by the end of the year to continue to mature our technology and support deployment with our world-class mineral and clean energy partners.

Requirements

  • Significant experience leading complex commercial engagements, strategic partnerships, or market-facing initiatives
  • Experience within mining, energy, natural resources, industrial technology, or similarly technical industries
  • Strong commercial judgment and ability to manage complex external relationships
  • Comfort building processes and operating in evolving environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and executive audiences
  • Ability to navigate emerging markets and evolving commercial priorities

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute Terra AI’s go-to-market and partnership strategy
  • Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of commercial and strategic opportunities
  • Lead complex partnership discussions across mining, critical minerals, and technical markets
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and delivery teams to align market needs with platform development
  • Help establish scalable commercial processes, reporting structures, and future team capability
  • Develop trusted relationships across technical, executive, investor, and operational stakeholder groups
