About The Position

The Head of Client Partnerships will lead and expand our retail channel partnerships, with a primary focus on Costco. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth, deepening vendor relationships, and positioning our nutraceutical manufacturing capabilities as a preferred solution for high-volume retail distribution.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in the nutraceutical, CPG, or contract manufacturing space.
  • Proven success managing and growing accounts with Costco or similar big-box retailers.
  • Deep understanding of retail sales cycles, vendor negotiations, and merchandising strategies.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with retail partners and attend industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the executive point of contact for Costco, managing all aspects of the relationship including product placement, pricing strategy, promotional planning, and supply chain coordination.
  • Develop and execute account-specific strategies to grow sales volume and expand product offerings within Costco’s ecosystem.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to enter and scale within other big-box retailers (e.g., Walmart, Sam’s Club, Target).
  • Build and lead a retail sales team focused on strategic account development and execution.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with retail buyers, category managers, and supply chain teams.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional terms to maximize profitability and long-term partnerships.
  • Own the retail sales P&L, setting aggressive but achievable revenue targets.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform product positioning and sales strategy.
  • Collaborate with product development, marketing, operations, and regulatory teams to ensure retail readiness and compliance.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales organization, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Travel as necessary for client meetings, trade shows, and team coordination.
