About The Position

Ingenico's Banking & Acquirer Sales team is responsible for prospecting and winning business in the Banking and Acquiring space in the USA. Due to business growth and market expansion, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Executive. The Head of Banking and Acquirer Sales will manage a group of Sales Leaders with revenue targets, driving revenue and daily sales functions including target research, prospecting, meetings, advancing the sales cycle, and closing deals. This role requires experience with complex, long-cycle sales, as payment projects often involve multiple parties and extended selling cycles. The successful candidate will also be responsible for setting sales territory strategy, establishing direct customer relationships, diagnosing customer needs, presenting Ingenico solutions, closing sales, and ensuring delivery meets or exceeds customer expectations. They will also relay customer requests to internal teams, serve as the 'Voice of the Customer,' attend trade shows, complete timely forecasts, perform prospecting activities, and utilize Salesforce for opportunity tracking. Outstanding communication skills are essential, as the role requires interaction with senior leadership including the CEO, North American President, and the Board.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Sell solutions in a manner that contributes to Ingenico meeting its global and regional sales strategies and revenue goals.
  • Set strategy for sales territory including account priority, calling strategy, relevant value drivers, partnership with 3rd parties, and travel schedule.
  • Establish direct customer relationships, diagnose customer need, present Ingenico solutions, close the sale, and ensure delivery meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Relay customer requests to account management team and other Ingenico internal groups (Product development, Marketing, Operations, etc…)
  • Serve as “Voice of the Customer” within Ingenico and ensure all members of our organization are aligned to support the end user.
  • Attend trade shows and present Ingenico products to establish and maintain the industry awareness of Ingenico.
  • Complete forecasts in a timely and consistent manner to enable senior management to properly forecast revenue and hardware quantities.
  • Perform prospecting activities.
  • Use Salesforce for opportunity tracking, forecasting, and activity logging.
