Head Coach
About The Position
As Head Coach at selfpublishing.com, you'll maximize the performance of our coaching team through coaching, training, call reviews, and constant improvement. You'll create, execute, and improve our coaching program across every product we offer, both existing and new, and help more authors publish, succeed, and keep working with us. This is a player coach role: about 70% hands on coaching with authors and 30% leading and developing our coaches. At selfpublishing.com, we believe it's not about the book. Requirements
- 2+ years of coaching and/or management experience
- A proven track record of coaching and facilitation with tangible results
- Experience facilitating virtual or in person events and workshops
- Proficient tech skills, including Asana, Slack, HubSpot, Zoom, and Google Drive
- Perfect written English and excellent spoken English
- Ready to work 45+ hours a week
Nice To Haves
- Organizational leadership and/or sales experience
- Experience with Teachable
- A published book (or the drive to write one with us in your first 6 months)
Responsibilities
- Drive 30% year over year renewal growth by increasing renewal and launch call sets across the coaching team.
- Help 45%+ of authors publish and achieve their program's promised result.
- Maintain a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 55+ by giving every author an experience on par with Disney or Chick fil A.
- Lead group coaching calls, workshops, and one on one sessions as a core part of your week.
- Run call reviews for every coach and every call type, build promotion and development plans, and continue each coach's individual training.
- Partner with our Author Success, Community, and R&D teams to improve course content, the user experience, and author lifetime value.
- Identify standout author stories and testimonials to share with our team every quarter.
