Head Coach/GM of Coaching

D1 TrainingSandy Springs, GA
Onsite

About The Position

At D1 Sandy Springs, the Head Coach owns the coaching product end to end — the athletes, the staff, the retention, the upsells, and the numbers behind all of it. This role is for individuals who want to run a business, not just a session, and prefer to own an outcome, retention, revenue, and athlete progress rather than check off a task list. The ideal candidate believes the best coaches are also the best closers, has a genuine satisfaction in a tight operation with clean data, sharp processes, and a dialed-in staff, and wants to know every member’s name, goal, and progress by heart. This role is not for those who see administrative tasks, CRM, and numbers as the "boring part" or wish to hand off retention, sales, and the back office to someone else.

  • Certification required: CSCS, NASM, USAW, or equivalent.
  • CPR/AED certified, or willing to obtain before start.
  • Comfort with TeamBuildr, a CRM/scheduling platform, and spreadsheets — or the ability to get comfortable fast.
  • Former collegiate (or higher) athlete.
  • Real experience coaching youth and adult athletes.
  • Fluent with data — ability to build, read, and act on a tracking sheet or KPI report.
  • Relentlessly organized.
  • A natural closer.
  • A leader who coaches, athletes, parents, and adult clients all trust.
  • An owner who takes responsibility for outcomes, not just effort.
