About The Position

The Human Capital Management Specialist (HRIS Administrator) serves in the Division of Human Resources and is responsible for overseeing and managing all personnel transactions in Oracle HCM Cloud for the life cycle of employees for assigned client groups. This role serves as a strategic partner to the Divisional Business Officers, Financial Managers, HR Consultants, Talent Advisors, Payroll and Benefits Analysts, and Labor Distribution Accountants, providing a collaborative and supportive environment while ensuring policy compliance.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree and one year of work experience are required.
  • Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.

  • Display a high ethical standard with the ability to adhere to the University's policies and procedures

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Additional experience or education will be considered in lieu of one another.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating with Talent Management, Business Officers, and Provost’s Office to set up new faculty and staff hires
  • Administering employee assignment and salary updates to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time
  • Providing excellent client support and intradepartmental HR collaboration by addressing concerns or questions related to employment data, time card entries, absences/leave, and pay
  • Performing frequent validations to maintain data quality and accuracy with the ability to multi-task while maintaining data integrity
  • Maintaining a high degree of confidentiality at all times
  • Supporting client groups and HR partners with process and policy recommendations, and ad hoc data reporting or analysis as needed
  • This includes routine summary reports to Business Officers and key client group contacts
  • This role will collaborate on projects for process improvements designed to optimize system efficiency and agility, maintain accurate job training material, and look for solutions for common troubleshooting items
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
  • Ability to comply with University policies
