About The Position

St. Mary's Medical Center is currently seeking a part time Medicaid Eligibility Coordinator. The Medicaid Eligibility Coordinator will guide the patient through the financial options process. Duties include facilitating patient with Medicaid Eligibility, facilitating patient with Marketplace, obtaining Charity application, processing and approving/disapproving charity, and providing patients with other possible options to take care of their financial responsibility. Additional duties may include coordinating the collection of information for Ambulance/Trauma patients and monitoring employee production and quality of output of the registration process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or Accounting
• At least one year experience in healthcare or business management
• Computer experience required
• Professional appearance
• Must be available to work hours needed to support the department

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years of position related experience preferred
• Previous supervisory experience desirable
