About The Position

This role is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment and systems specific to the hatchery. The technician will perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment, complete and maintain maintenance/repair paperwork, and handle cleanup and housekeeping duties. General maintenance on the building and writing requisitions for necessary tools, parts, and equipment are also key responsibilities. The technician will lead maintenance work on their assigned shift and perform all maintenance levels within the hatchery. Other relevant duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior industrial maintenance experience required.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools of all types.
• Pneumatic experience.
• Electrical experience (use of volt meters and amp meters).

Nice To Haves

• Welding/fabrication skills desired.

Responsibilities
