About The Position
This position at Pilgrim's involves the construction, maintenance, and testing of mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. The role requires identifying parts or machines needing replacement, utilizing shop mathematics, and interpreting drawings to adjust, maintain, or repair machinery. The individual will respond to production area requests for mechanical assistance, diagnose problems, and communicate with production management and personnel. Performing preventive maintenance and completing tasks with accuracy and efficiency are key aspects of this role.
Requirements
- Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment/electrical understanding
- General mathematic ability required to perform job
- Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
- Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures
- Must be able to work assigned days/shifts (including rotating on call weekends)

Responsibilities
- Construct, maintain and test mechanical equipment, machinery and components
