As a harness routing engineer, you will be part of the Ogden On-site team's Engineering Support Group. Working directly with our F-16 customer, your responsibilities will include supporting the development of organic modification programs and maintaining the Lockheed Martin F-16 engineering databases and drawings. You will be part of a small, highly-skilled team of harness routing engineers working full-time on-site at Hill Air Force Base in Utah. Some travel will be required to customer facilities. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: Research harness configuration impacts on F-16 aircraft using Lockheed Martin's engineering databases (Asset Design Management System (ADMS), Aerospace Consolidated Engineering (ACE), Parts Warehouse (PW) , Joint Electrical Design and Installation (JEDI), Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), etc.) to determine current configuration, effectivity, and Next Higher Assembly (NHA) for applicable drawings. Create engineering Application Lists (ALs), Parts Lists (PLs), drawing notes, Service Data Notes (SDNs), PL notes, and usage flags. Create Design Information (DI) and Source Data (SD) using CATIA V5. Travel to support harness routing design changes (up to 2 weeks at a time) at Operational Use Evaluations (OUEs), Trial Verification Installations (TVIs) and Kit Proofs (KPs). Create Organic Change Notices (OCNs) using ADMS. Create engineering drawings mark-ups using CATIA V5.
