About The Position

Martin Motorsports is seeking a Driver/Shop Helper for its Harley-Davidson location. The role delivers and picks up vehicles and equipment for the facility and assists with the overall operation of the sales and service departments. The employee may also help with motorcycle uncrating and setup, cleaning and detailing vehicles, and other dealership duties as assigned. The position requires lifting up to 55 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 55 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Nice To Haves

Motorcycle (M) endorsement on driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

Comply with motor vehicle laws and drive defensively.
Deliver vehicles to customers, other facilities, and vendors in a timely manner.
Secure motorcycles properly in delivery vehicles for safe transport.
Coordinate vehicle pickups from customers, other facilities, and vendors with the Service Manager or another designated employee.
Complete a delivery log and obtain the recipient’s signature at the time of delivery.
Help maintain the organization and cleanliness of the facility and property.
Keep the delivery vehicle clean, recommend repairs or maintenance to management, and ensure its registration and license tag are current.
Assist with uncrating and setting up new motorcycles.
Assist with cleaning and detailing customer and internal vehicles.
Assist technicians or other dealership personnel when asked.
Interact with customers courteously and in a friendly manner.
Complete training as directed by a supervisor.
Follow the policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
Perform other duties as assigned.
