About The Position

Ed Morse Automotive Group is seeking a Service Porter to support its Harley-Davidson dealership. The role maintains the appearance and performance of new and used vehicle inventory, keeps dealership lots orderly, and moves motorcycles and vehicles as needed. The position also involves cleaning work areas and inspecting parts, equipment, and vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with applicable standards.

Requirements

• Hold a valid driver’s license with a motorcycle endorsement and have a clean record.
• Have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Have a strong work ethic.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds and move a 1,000-pound motorcycle.
• Complete a pre-employment screening that includes a background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean the interiors and exteriors of new and used vehicles to maintain their appearance and performance.
• Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
• Keep new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly; move motorcycles as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Sweep, shovel, or vacuum loose debris or salvageable scrap into containers and remove containers from work areas.
• Inspect parts, equipment, and vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards or regulations.
• Drive vehicles to and from the service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
