About The Position

Diversified Automation is seeking a Hardware Engineering Co-op to join its hardware engineering team in Louisville, Kentucky. This on-site role offers hands-on experience contributing to real-world hardware engineering projects while learning from experienced professionals. The co-op will help revise and create hardware architectural drawings, research and analyze design questions, and collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams. The position is 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a degree in electrical engineering.
• Have proficiency in AutoCAD software or a willingness to learn it.
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Have excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Be able to work on-site at the Louisville office for the specified hours.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced engineers to revise and update hardware architectural drawings.
• Assist in creating new hardware architectural drawings using AutoCAD software.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to ongoing projects.
• Conduct research and analysis to support hardware design decisions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support seamless integration of hardware components.
