About The Position

DKW Communications, Inc. is seeking a Hardware Engineer to support government customers located in Pensacola, Florida. The role supports hardware and software aspects of multiple upgrades, participating across the systems lifecycle, from analysis and requirements through design, integration, testing, maintenance, and documentation.

Requirements

• An active DoD Secret security clearance is required to start.
• A B.S. in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of prior hardware design and integration experience.

Nice To Haves

• IAT Level I certification is preferred; if not already held, it must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Participate in systems analysis, evaluation, requirements analysis, design, development, parts requisition, implementation, integration, installation, testing, acceptance, maintenance, debugging, and documentation for hardware and software aspects of multiple upgrades.
• Design, implement, and test hardware and software solutions to reported problems.
• Provide research, analysis, and status information for the In-Service Engineering Office.
• Provide support for on-site personnel.
